While staying in the loop period between Christmas and New Year, it’s very beneficial to start with New Year resolutions much earlier than waiting until January. For that occasion, we started with After Christmas Detox Smoothie. Smoothies are great nutrition and they can be so much more than just blended fruits. It can be served for breakfast, snack, afternoon treat instead of dessert. At Boost Eat we opt for healthy solutions that can be very essential for our well-being. INGREDIENTS:
1/2 banana
1/2 apple
1/2 pear
fresh ginger
1/2 kiwi
1 carrot
1 tbs chia seeds
1 tbs sunflower seeds
3 1/2 tbs Greek yogurt
60 ml milk -> can be plant milk
4 tbs oatmeal flakes
1 tbs cinnamon
1 tbs cacao powder
3 tbs organic honey
PREPARATION:
- Wash the fruits. Don’t peal the apple and pear, remove the seeds from them. Cut them into cubes. Cut the rest of fruit and add them to the blender.
- Add milk, yoghurt, seeds and and top up with honey.
- Start bleding on high speed for 30s – 1 minute. Check the consistency and if you prefer more liquid add some milk.
